Master Cleanse Recipe

The Master Cleanse, which was created over 50 years ago, is one of the most renowned detox diets in the world. The benefits of doing a detox diet are many and include weight loss, pain relief, chronic ailment alleviation, increased energy levels, allergy alleviation, and increased sex drive and potency. Since the Master Cleanse is so widely used, there’s a great deal of discussion of this diet even though the basic Master Cleanser recipe is in fact very simple indeed.
Here is the basic Master Cleanse recipe which is good for 1 serving:
- 2 Tablespoons of organic lemon Juice (about 1/2 a Lemon)
- 2 Tablespoons of Organic grade B maple syrup
- 1/10 Teaspoon Cayenne pepper powder
- Ten ounces of filtered water
Here is a Master Cleanser recipe which is good for 1 day’s worth of serving:
- 60 ounces of filtered water
- 12 Tablespoons of organic grade B maple syrup
- 12 Tablespoons of organic lemon juice
- 1/2 Teaspoon cayenne pepper powder
Indeed, the Master Cleanse recipe isn’t that appealing when you first look at it. The thing to remember is that the Master Cleanse isn’t a diet you need to stick to for long. The maximum recommended length of using this diet is 10 days. Anymore than that and it may be a bit unhealthy. You can also spice up the Master Cleanse recipe with certain herbal teas and other “safe” foods which won’t take away from the detoxification effects of the diet.
Another benefit of the Master Cleanser recipe is that it’s easy to get all the ingredients and that they are all very affordable so that you are in fact saving money on groceries on the days you use this diet.
